Show us your tattoos and share your tattoo plans! Where did you get them? Do you have any lesbian-themed ones? Any recommendations for tattoo artists? I've been thinking of getting a tattoo for a couple of years but haven't been able to decide on design and placement; I already have ideas for like ten different ones that'll probably end up on my skin at some point, the problem is figuring out how they will work together. Style-wise, dotwork and linework interest me, but I don't know if thin lines and small details age well. Geometric elements combined with natural motifs is what I'm thinking of. Anyway, I want to get tattooed by a female artist, so if you know any good tattooers in Europe, let me know. Even better if they're lesbian! As for lesbian-themed tattoos, I want to get the classics somewhere: a small labrys on its own and maybe a ♀ incorporated in a bigger design. Also, a bat! Lepakko, Finnish for bat (the animal), is also slang for lesbian, and I'm a goth, so...

so like i have one tattoo i got years ago and could never afford more. all it is is demon in kanji on my back close to the neck. i rarely show it off, i got it bc i wanted a tattoo but i didn't know what i wanted and was at the parlor with friends so i just got that bc i like the design. but tbh i kind of like that it means demon bc of my mental illnesses i feel i have a demon in me. also i try very hard not to be the annoying white girl like "look at my kanji tattoo!!"
i'm hoping to eventually get a dragon on my left arm and a small cat tatoo on my right wrist to remember my cat bella.

I have 5 small tattoos. The only lesbian-themed one I have is one I regret. It's an inverted rainbow triangle that I got 10 years ago when I was 19. I don't regret having a gay tattoo. However, there's a lot wrong with having a holocaust symbol tattooed on your body.
So it looks like I have a great base for a coverup tattoo! Only problem is I don't know what to cover it with, but I would like to do it soon. Maybe I'll just find some not-terribly-trite flash.

right now i have a panda on my ankle and the sailor moon ginzuishou on my chest. the best picture i have of the ginzuishou is relatively soon after getting it done lol so excuse the redness: it's 3 years old at this point i think? i LOVE it and despite it being an ode to a fandom from my teenage years, i don't regret it a bit. i want to get a lesbian tattoo next for sure, and i'll def be going to the same artist who did the one above (unfortunately she's boston-based, not europe, or i'd totally rec her to you!!). i've been thinking of a labrys as well, but with something like a floral fill to femme it up.

I'd like to get a tattoo one day, too. Or probably more than one. I'd like to get flowers tattooed on my forearms to cover up the scars I have. The only problem I have is that I don't find any good enough tattoo artist in my city and I can't go to the next city/cities because I don't have a car, I only ride my bike... But everyone got their awesome tattoos in different cities. :/
I'd also like to have a floral tattoo on my belly where I also have a scar. I could get my entire body tattooed to cover up scars tbh. :'D

A tattoo is a form of body modification where a design is made by inserting ink, dyes and pigments, either indelible or temporary, into the dermis layer of the skin to change the pigment.
